Being into racing was inevitable. My parents took me to stock car races when I was only a couple months old. My dad would race, my mom would be in the score tower keeping race scores. I'd be 'asleep' on the floor with the sound of race cars in my dreams.

BMX became my racing vehicle of choice. I raced locally in Yuma and also out of town with my friends.

I spent a lot of time in the sand dunes on my Quad ( I was not racing it mom! ) so the desert is very familiar.

My dad, Rick, kept racing stock cars - so of course I had to try that too!  I built my first race car which got totalled out in my first season. Hmmm.. maybe stock cars were not for me.

I built my first trophy truck which landed upside down in a canal with failed brakes.  Oops!

Then I heard about an abandoned Jeep Cherokee in the desert near Martinez Lake.  We recovered that Jeep and started working on it for Off-Road Racing.  Unbelievably, we found a second abandoned Jeep in the same area (evidently a hot spot for smuggling illegal aliens into the US).   Lots of hard work and we were ready to race!

Racing is my passion and I work on the Jeep in the evenings and weekends when I am done with my day job.
