When offered the co-pilot seat in my son Joey's JeepSpeed, how could I say no?  Like Father Like Son when it comes to racing... I'd been stock car racing before Joey was born.  

 

In my first year of stock car racing, I was awarded the "Hard Luck Driver" award.  

 

I came back the next year to win first place.  And that was after having my race car 'claimed' in a claiming race and having to build a whole new car in 2 weeks to avoid losing points!

 

I continued racing stock cars for over 20 years, eventually racing in the Pro-Stock class.  

 

I've built cars for fellow racers and spend a lot of time under the hood. 

 

Joey and I raced our first race and are looking forward to the next one.  As a team, I predict  we'll be unbeatable!
